Jason works as the plant manager at D.W. Machine but on the weekends, he is the front seat manager in his 2002 Eagle chassis Modified powered by a Chevrolet engine. Jason keeps busy racing on a regular basis at Spartan Speedway and Springport Motor Speedway as well as an occasional trip to Owosso, Dixie, and Auto City Speedways.

Jason started racing in 1993 in the Sportsman Division. In 1996, he was the Super Late Model Rookie of the Year at Spartan Speedway. In 2004, he won the Championship in the Modified Division at Springport Motor Speedway. And then in 2005, Jason became the Michigan Modified Association Asphalt State Champion.
