Kyle Drake was born on June 29th, 1988 and lives in Dimondale, Michigan. His parents are Doug
and Wendy Drake, and he has a sister, Ava, a brother, Spencer, and two dogs Sadie and Dashell.
Kyle is employed by A1 Rent All and is also a student at Holt High School. On Friday nights, you'll find him at Spartan Speedway driving his #14 Pure Stock and again at Springport Motor Speedway on Saturday nights. The car is a 1988 Chevy Caprice and will also appear on occasion in the Spartan Figure 8 races with driver John Hernly behind the wheel. At the same time in the Figure 8 races, you'll find Kyle behind the wheel of the #28 which belongs to his brother, Spencer. Kyle is sponsored by Drake Electric LLC and Smalley's Auto Service. And of course, Kyle is searching for additional sponsors as well.

"I've been racing since the age nine. I started in quarter midgets and won the track championship in Sr. novice and also the Tri-City Championship. I was runner up for the Lt. Mod Tri-City Championship. Overall in quarter midgets I've won 6 track championships, one Tri-City Championship, 50+ A-main wins, 35+ Fast Times. I Took a few years off after i got out of quarter midgets then got back into racing last year when my brother Spencer got his car and ran in the Harvest Figure 8 with his car." |
