"I have always been a big fan of racing. I got introduced to racing back in 1978. A while later, my uncle, Butch Heatherington, began racing Factory Stocks and I was hooked."
"Many years later when my cousin, Wayne Parkhurst, and I were old enough to drive, it all began for us. Wayne has had many years of racing over me and has been a big part of my first ever start at racing Street Stocks. I have raced off and on and mainly drag racing street rods when I was younger. I did participate in several spectator drags at Spartan in earlier years, they were a lot of fun!"
