Maurice... check the default setting for timezone, I think its set to -4 GMT, it should be -5 GMT.

Until the time changes again, -4 is correct.

Go to the main index page and it will display the current time near the top. It displays correctly with -4 as the setting.

Actually, this thread shouldn't be deleted, because you brought up a good subject. The current default time setting for the message board is "GMT -4 hours". You can change the setting for your own time zone by going into your "profile" and making the change.

Of course, anyone in Michigan will want to keep it at GMT-4. But when the daylight savings time changes again, we'll want to change it to GMT -5.

You can change your profile settings by clicking on "Profile" at the top of any page.

It's time to change our clocks again. This is not done automatically for everyone because we can have members from many different states here.

Anyone in Michigan (and possibly other states as well) should look at the time that is listed on the main index page. If it shows the correct time, you need not do anything. But if it looks like the time is an hour later than it should be, you can correct it in your "Profile".

Please note: The times will show correctly for Michigan if you are not logged in. This is because the system displays Michigan time for guests. When you log in, check the time listed. It will now be displayed for however you have it set in your Profile.

Since we had a daylight savings time change again we must all make the change in our profile for anyone who this is affecting. That way, you will see the correct time stamps on the messages that are posted.

Click on Profile at the top of any page and scroll down to where you can change the timezone. For those of us in Michigan, you will want to set it to "GMT-5" to have the correct time and timestamps being displayed.

While you are in your Profile page, check your email address setting and make sure it is correct. If you have changed your email address, be sure to update the setting here.
