With a sad heart I would like to let all Spartan Family know that my buddy Levi Johnson, passed away yesterday Nov. 13, at the age of 13. from Muscular Dystrophy. He made me step back that day he was at Spartan, to look at his courage & strength, and hope that I could be that strong one day.
I would like to Thank all Spartan Drivers & Staff again for making his dream of meeting Tony Stewart come true, and the autographed tire that was signed by all Spartan Drivers. I'm sure he's trying to figure out how to get it with him to heaven! It was an honor to be a part of such a special moment in his life, and something I will never forget.
I'd also like to start a fund for helping with the funeral costs. I know the family needs help with the expenses, and I'd love to send something from the Spartan Speedway Family. As soon as arrangements are complete I'll come back with more info.
To Levi,
Now that you have met the best racers down here, it's your time to go meet the best up there There's a special one up there waiting for you, his name is Brian, and you met him down here while hanging with all of us at Spartan that night.

Yes, this is sad news.
I remember seeing him that night and how happy he seemed to be, as if there couldn't be a better place in the world to be.
However, now he has found a better one.

Hello~
First let me start by saying I am so sorry for you loss.
As for the decal... I had a great sign made for Brian Heeney for his funeral. I used a place called Terrell & Associates Signs on Cedar St in Holt. They were absolutely wonderful and made the sign for me SAME DAY!
I am sure they can help you out.
Take care and God Bless. There are some awesome racers up there taking care of Levi. I am sure they will make him the honorary flag man.
You and you family will be in our prayers. _________________ Racing is Everything... Anything else is just a distraction!

We from the Charlie Ryan Jr. family would also like to express our sincere sympathy to Levi`s family. We know all to well how it is to loose a child. Although we were lucky enough to have ours for 40 years. But either way it does not lessen the pain. We remember Levi too that was the night of Charlies memoril race, and we too were honored to meet Tony Stewart, and he was very much a very personal guy, and we seen him with Levi. We didn`t know your son personally but don`t need to from all we`ve heard he was very much a part of the racing family. God Bless you all, and I`m sure my boy will watch over him, he loved kids and especially those who loved racing. Always remember to rely on your memories because they will get you by a lot of bad days. Our deepests sympathy, The Charlie Ryan Jr. family _________________ RACING PEOPLE ARE THE BEST. |
