A friendly place for those who share the love of being in the wind and music to gather together and spend some relaxing time sharing fun, fellowship and the company of the extended family that we all truly are.

Our mission is for our friends to find enjoyment and build a tavern that is most unique, and that all will truly come to call home once again.

Ok, so now I will venture onto this thread myself.

It is my intent to have a part of this tavern to have a section devoted to short track racing, both current and past, in Michigan particularly, but also any short track racing period.

As such, start thinking about what you might want to see in that area, and what you might have in the way of pic's and or whatevers to donate to the wall space in that short track section of the tavern.

Music, motorcycles and modifieds ( or supers, or streeters, or ponies, or sprinters, et al) have been my passion, and hopefully I can add to it with a place for short trackers to enjoy also.

All,

The ICHD was supposed to be at the tavern yesterday at 4:00 p.m. to do a pre-opening inspection.

However, they did not show up. He was ill and no one deigned to call me and let me know that he could not make it.

As such, I am in limbo land at the moment as far as an opening date.

I will keep all posted in the next day or so as to progress.

As a further clarification, the Grand Opening WILL NOT HAPPEN ON FEBRUARY 21st, as the ICHD will not have performed their inspection by that date.

So watch here for further information regarding a NEW DATE for the Opening of Schinde's OT.
