Right now is the time when you should be soliciting potential sponsors. It is tough to make cold calls. Trust me I do it every day and I get told no at times.
The most important thing you can do is to have a plan that has value for the person you are asking for money. If there is no value the door will close forever.
Spartan can help with this. You can sell a billboard, program ad or many other opportunities and receive free season pit and general admission passes. Just consider selling one ad, receiving a free season pit pass and giving your sponsor a place on your car and a 8X8 billboard.
Spartan can provide you with a lot of value for your sponsors. Times are tough. Call it what it is and get motivated. It is so easy you will feel bad for not doing something about it for the last couple of years.
We have several people that have already taken advantage of this program. We need an Army of sales people and we have something for the sales people to be proud to sell. If you are a driver/crew/family etc. and would like to come into the pits for free, or give your pass away periodically (like to your sponsor to watch you race so they will like you next season) you need more in your arsenal than I will bless my car with your name on the side and btw thanks for the check.
