last year at the Call of the Wild Curt Spalding broke the World Record for the fastest paved 3/8 oval lap at a 10.715 @ 125.992mph avg. This year Terry Sroufe, Andy Bozell, and Curt Spalding absolutely crushed the old World Record. Terry Sroufe was ranning 10.5's in a dirt late model, Andy Bozell ran a 10.240 with an asphalt late model, and Curt Spalding ran a 10.217 @ 132.132 mph avg! If you weren't at the racetrack last night you missed one of the best racing moments ever, the entire crowd stood up and clapped and cheered, it was the loudest ive ever heard the place, even louder than last year when they broke the World Record!

you can go to www.youtube.com and type "kalamazoo speedway" or "kalamazoo speedway world record" in the search and you will see all the world record videos. there is like 3 seperate videos of curt, a couple of andy and a couple of terry i believe

One can only imagine what a ride like that must have been like. And to take the record down by a half second, think of how hard we work to get our lap times down by a tenth or two.
