DeWitt, Michigan (Tuesday, April 13, 2010): The ARCA Racing Series Presented by RE/MAX and Menards is about to embark on their fourth race of the 2010 racing season. Theirs been three different winners so far and 18-year-old Chad Finley hopes to make it four for four in his 2010 debut.

The 18-year-old from DeWitt, Michigan will make his first ARCA start of the year for Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR) this Friday, April 16th at the 1.5 mile high-banked d-shaped paved oval of Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas for the running of the Rattlesnake 150.

“I’m looking forward to heading back to Texas. We had a real good test there last month,” Stated the Great Lakes State teenager. “The guys at BKR have worked real hard and are confident we will be better then we were at the test.”

On March 9th, Finley and the BKR Team made the trip down to the Lone Star State for an open ARCA Test Session and at the end of the day he was shown sixth fastest out of the 21-car field on hand. His fastest lap was a 29.422, which averages out to a blistering 183.536mph and was only 0.389 seconds off of the fastest lap of the test, a 29.033.

“Texas is also the home state of Auto Value and Auto Parts 20/20.com so that will be cool.” He continued. “This is the first time I have raced the same weekend as the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide series’, so it will be neat having all those guys there. We will just hope to stay out of trouble and be there at the end.” Finley ended.

Finley raced a limited schedule in ARCA during the 2009 racing season, but made the most of those limited races with One Pole Award at Rockingham Speedway, one Top Five finish, a third at Berlin Raceway, three Top 10 showings and all four starts he made during the 2009 campaign in ARCA resulted in at least a Top 15.

For the 2010 racing season, Finley has committed to run at least 4-5 speedway ARCA races, and as many as 10 depending on funding, beginning with the Rattlesnake 150. In addition to the Texas race, both ARCA events at the Pocono International Raceway on Pocono, Pennsylvania; The Pocono ARCA 200 on June 5th and the Pennsylvania ARCA 125 on July 31st are also on the 2010 schedule for Finley.

The two events in Pennsylvania sandwich his lone race in his home state of Michigan in the Racing for Wildlife 200 at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan on June 11th. Another race close to home will be the Chicagoland ARCA 150 at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois on August 27th.

Tentative 2010 plans call for Finley to also race the ARCA shows at Iowa Speedway (July 10th), Kansas Speedway (September 30th) and the 2010 season finale at Rockingham Speedway on October 9th.

In addition to his ARCA schedule, Finley will also race in select events within the ASA Late Model Northern Series as well as several races aboard his Outlaw Bodied Super Late Models in events across Michigan as well as Indiana and Ohio.
