Depends which Pure Stock Class you are running?
If you are running (RWD) The rule reads No aluminum wheels allowed. Standard wagon wheels or steel racing wheels are ok. Maximum width 8"
If you are running (FWD),The rule reads,Steel wheels only, stock for that year, make and model. Maximum width of 6" |

We had forgotten to put that part in the rulebook. So, I just added it but left out the 6" part because some stock wheels are 6.5 to 7 inches and may be required for some 235 sized tires.

This is Steve, i was with the Gokee Clan at Palo Corn Harvest. I was the BIG GUY! LOL. Thanks for getting back with me on that. That car I ran at Palo, I may run at Spartan part time, specials and opens and such. I was just wondering about the wheel rule is all, so I know what to get around as far as tires and wheels for spartan. So Street Tires w/steel racing wheels/wagon wheels is good? Ok thanks for the info!!!

Is there a guideline or rule to follow as far as size of street tires? or is it just run what you got? _________________ ~~~~Steve "Big Daddy" Orta~~~~

No, you have to go by what it says in the rulebook. You'll find the tire rule for the RWD Pure Stock in the DRIVE TRAIN COMPONENTS section.
Maximum 235 width, no less than 70 series for sidewall height. All four must be the same size.
