I wanted to tell all you driver who used the sevices of the welder we may not be at the tracks welding the rest of the season. Friday (Aug 4th) Jim, the kids, and I where on our way up to the track and we were we in a very bad accident. Thank god we where not hurt just brusied and banged around but the welder is dead torches are dead. They were rolled over everything the truck and welder and trailer are totaled. We lost everything that Jim ownes for the welder and his truck and will take sometime to replace and lots of cash to replace everything. Iam that we didn't let you all know sooner.
We will let you know if he can get things around in time to make it back so you guys have the welder there.

Cheryl,
First, it is good to know that you are all okay. That is the most important thing. As far as welding, obviously you won't be welding much at Springport (please read the other threads). As far as Spartan, tell Jimmy he can use my welder/generator for the rest of the season if he would like. Give me a call. Glad you are all OK. |

I'd like to see someone take up a collection for these folks..
That's just as bad as an accident that takes out a race car or hurts a driver. |
