970's for 2012

The Hoosier 970 will be the tire of choice at Spartan for the 2012 season. I have had some calls that expressed doubt that the 970 will continue to be manufactured but I met with Hoosier yesterday and was assured that was not the case.

As far as the Spartan Sprints are concerned I think we should communicate and see how you feel about a switch. Last season the AVSS ran the 40 series and the reports I have gotten are that the tire should (is?) repeatable. However I would like some input from the teams.

Using the same tires as the AVSS series could have some small benefits for Sprints teams as well.

Would like to get with some one on two cars for two diffrent classes for some rules. I will be in the Modifieds and my daughter will be in the FWD class what ever they are called here.
It's her first time in a race and looking forward to running back a track that like my home in the early to mid 90s.. thank you
