Just thought I would let you all know that Dexter Thomas racer of the 60s and 70s era has passed away July 16th 2012 .. He was on the old timer list..
He sat near the flag stand on most race nights in his wheel chair for the past few yrs ..maybe gone but will never be forgotten R.I.P my friend of many yrs

I had the pleasure of meeting Dexter a couple of years ago at the old timers night. He brought a picture of himself winning the consolation race back in August of 1971. He was never a big winner, but without drivers like him helped to make racing entertaining. My condolences to Dexter's family.

i knew dexter for many year's alway stop to say hi when i was in the stand's. i races with him and his brother's and always had a good time. i'll miss you dexter god speed. a racing friend ron1r
