All,

I have a question that I would like some input on.

The Basement Dawgs are mostly a classic rock band, sticking with our genre and enjoying it to no end. However, I have recently began listening again to some country, and as a result, we are adding the following songs to our repetoire.

Fast Forward - Kenny Chesney
Can't Take THe Honky Tonk Out of The Girl - Brooks and Dunn
Whiskey Girl - Toby Keith
Everything to Me - Brad Paisley
Some People Change - Montgomery Gentry

What I would like to find out is what tunes in particular that some of you would suggest should be added to the above list, in order to try to make sure that we can cater to everyone's likes.

As may be suspected, I definitely would like to have fellow racers not only enjoy our music, but also give us some input as to what you all would want to hear live. If Racin' and Rockin' III can happen this year, I want everyone to have fun, and being able to play what you want to hear in addition to our classic rock lineup would be very important to me.

Bands like to have niche fans, and I definitely want our niche to be racers, the college crowd, etc., doesn't quite understand old hippies like me, the music they listen to is not what I enjoy, and enjoying what you play just adds to the fun that we have as a band.

So please, if you would be so kind, give me some input.

By the way, the Basement Dawgs will be at the Barn Tavern in Grand Ledge this Friday and Saturday night, Jan 26 and 27. If you are free that night, c'mon out, I'll do my dead level best to be sure you have a good time!

Thanks in advance,

have a good day,

schinde

Hey Hippie... Your always trying to keep people happy, thats Great !! Remember Bob Seger is doing well with his new tunes. As well as Hank jr and his side kick Kid Rock, (the best of both worlds come together). Laughing

Lilhemi,

You are right, he is doing well. We currently are doing Wreck This Heart and Wait For Me. Both good tunes and fun to play. Also do older Seger too. Always been a fan of his, also Mellencamp.

have a good day,

schinde
