Good going, Jimmie. That would be a very good web site to own.

You should get a web site going and highlight the bus races around the country. You could have links to all the tracks that hold the races. There's even a drag racer who does exibition races and pulls a wheelie all the way down the drag strip with a school bus, and it's fast.

Go do a search on Google for schoolbus racing and watch how many sites come up. It's pretty popular.

Jimmy,

I don't go for the MySpace thing. Having a spot on there isn't the same as having a "real" web site.

MySpace.com makes a lot of money by giving people free space on their site. Just check out all the advertising. It's a big gimmick that has paid off well for MySpace.com.

If you want a real web site, you set up your own dot com site, not on MySpace. That just isn't very professional.

The name totaledout.com already has a web site, but there is nothing there yet. It's just a page that says it's brand new and will be up and running soon.

You see, having a site with a name that begins with totaledout.com is much better than having a site that begins with myspace.com.

All good ideas, Rick:

However, carclaim.com, cheapmods.com, freeracing.com, and raceforfood.com are already taken.

Keep the ideas coming.

Note: I heard a rumor that if you do a check for available sites on GoDaddy.com and it looks like something real good and you don't register it right away, a place called Dominbot.com will snatch it up. There might be something fishy going on there. So, be cautious about checking for available sites on GoDaddy.com unless you intend to register it right away.

If Jimmie48 had checked for schoolbusracing.com on GoDaddy.com like he did, but didn't register it right away, it would very likely have been snatched up by Domibot within a few hours.
