Patrick,
Some of us, at least myself, are totally unaware of what went on at Columbus.
Why don't you give us a recap of the event.
What was Maurice driving? _________________ Thanks

Dennis,
it was a open 4cyl race and maurice was driving one of Jimmy Scavarda's cars. They have been regulars down there for about three years now.

The MainEvent is held at Columbus at the end of the season.
They have a big 4 cylinder show there..
Jimmy S and MoRan made the trip to represent the fine folks of Michigan against those ass backward OSU hicks.. known as the residents of Columbus.
In typical MICHIGAN fashion, Jimmy came up just a bit short and blamed it on those cheaten tards cause they were using hopped up GM Evec engines in Cavaliers.
NOTE : Before somebody blasts me, I'm just razzing the guys, OSU folks and Michigan fans. I'm a Sparty, what do I have left ?!?!
All that being said.. I personally wasn't able to make the trip, but got a first hand report from Pinky who said he had a great run, but just couldn't handle the big power Cavaliers.. Maurice's engine picked up a miss and they couldn't get rid of it.. he made a game race of it but never really challenged. |

The Main Event is the season ending show for the Main Event Series for outlae SLM held at Columbus Motor Speedway. Go to www.maineventracingseries.com for results from the event. They have added other divisions over the years, this year I believe they had template bodied late models, mods and 4 cyl. By the way Brian Campbell won The Main Event XIX and he is the 19th different winner of the event. _________________ Keith
