| I made some unfortunate out of character comments last week that I deeply regret.I want to apologize to all the track officials and spotters that I offended. My comments were completely out of line and made in the heat of the moment when I was filled with anger. The officials and spotters have a tremendous amount of love and passion for the sport. They don't deserve to be bashed about anything period.I am extremely embarassed about the whole situation. The spotters try there best and are bound to make mistakes due to how fast stuff happens. They have a thankless job and just do it for the love of the sport.I feel terrible for what I said. In the heat of a championship battle I lost touch with what racing is supposed to be about.HAVING FUN.I promise I'll never take racing so seriously again. It brought out a part of me that I don't like at all. From now on it's all about having fun and whatever happens ,happens.See you all at the track. |

Alright, let the green flag fly and let the fun begin. Chris don't feel so bad about taking it so seriously. Racing is a tough sport, not only physically but mentally. A season full of great nights can be wiped out by 1 really bad night. I think it's great the championship battles are coming down to the wire. No one likes a runaway except the runaway. My plan is to give you and Larry a run for your money. But most importantly as long as we can all laugh and carry on after the races, that's the most important part.
See ya Saturday. |

Chris,
all of us at times say and do things that later on we wish we wouldn't have, so don't sweat it. It is dead and done, and I (not wishing to speak on the behalf of anyone else) certainly don't take things like that personally. It's all part of the game. I hope none of my replies to your posts were taken the wrong way; my intention was to help you re-focus on the task that lies ahead (winning the championship) versus re-hashing what has already been done and can't be changed. Best of luck in your pursuit for the championships at both tracks. |
