Just wondering for next year. If it may be thought of to change the rule on the wheels. If maybe we could run some sorta of racing wheel. Just like a wagon wheel type wheel, or will it remain stock wheels? Just a thought. You can get 6" racing wheels pretty cheap. Thoughts?

We will probably stick to stock steel wheels. There have been some teams modifying stock wheels to alter the offset. We haven't done anything about that yet, but will be cracking down and not allowing those to be used any longer.

It would be nice if all the stuff all the teams are doing which are against the rules which various track officials are aware of were cracked down on.

Rick,

"It would be nice if all the stuff all the teams are doing which are against the rules which various track officials are aware of were cracked down on."

Remember that book I loaned you...That has all the information that you need to go fast...and none of it is against the rules. I spent hours on the computer last winter getting all that info. If anyone else would like a copy let me know.

By the way Rick, I need the book back so I can make copys. Drop it off the next time your at Dennis's shop

Thanks
John

You know Rage, It's like that at every track you go to though. They say they're checking stuff, but somehow it always slides.

I think the track did a GREAT job all season long.. I don't want that to get lost.

I raced at a couple of other tracks this season and saw absolutely no teching or rules enforcing what-so-ever AND based on what I read about Owosso, AC and Dixie it would appear to me that SS/SMS was much better run.

BUT -- When I hear a track official say "we know people were doing this and next year were really, really, going to do something about it" that troubles me. I can accept that drivers cheat and it gets by the officials.

I have a tougher time swallowing -- drivers cheat, the officials know about it, and choose not to enforce it. What is the difference between dileberately not enforcing a car rule in the pits and dilberately not enforcing a rule on the track ?

NOW -- I know this is going to sound like I'm whining, crying and complaining when I'm really not... I'm striving for continous improvement - Never being satisified that a good job can be a great job; that a great job can be an fantastic job; and that even a fantastic job can be done even better.

I want BOTH tracks to grow and reputation and professionalism are one of the cornerstones.
