It's that time of year again! On Saturday, October 27, 2007, the 16th annual Jackson Motor Speedway Reunion party will be held. For those of you who don't go to the Spartan awards banquet, you may consider this great event to relive the GREAT times and drivers of the past. It's been 34 years since the races were last held at the great old track in Jackson. Some of the greats from the past who normally are in attendance include Wayne Landon, John Logan, Jack Conley, Rollie Beale, Don Freind, Ralph and Denny Donaldson. Last year I was fortunate enough to have my dinner with the legendary Jack Goodwin. There will be restored race cars on display as well as over 5000 photos. The MC this year will the Hall of Fame announcer Gary Lindahl. The price is only $15 which includes a meal and far to many memories to count. It is being held at the Elks Lodge on Lansing Ave. in Jackson only about 2 miles from the Speedway.
