Just a note for those interested.
John Mamula, one of our regular mod drivers at Spartan Speedway and at Kalamazoo also, is headed down to Nashville to run in the season ending 125 lapper for the USA series.
I would also like to note that this business, All American Race Supply, was the season sponsor for our modified division at Spartan Speedway.
A good guy, good racer, who can and will get you what you need when you need it.
Special deliveries and conditions can be met by John and his partner, Dick "Hobart" LaPratt, who along with Dick's long time crew chief, Bill Rogers, will be heading down to Nashville with John to crew for him.
Good luck John,
have a good day,

From a couple good sources I hear that John Q'd 12th started about the same and just past the 100 lap mark was in the top 5 and going for 2nd or 3rd.
It then sounds like another driver who needed to keep a top three finish may have helped John to finish the race with a trip back to the pits on the wrecker.
Way to go John.

As Dan said we qualified 12th, started 12th (on old tires) in feature and was running very well. John was up to 5th at the half-way break. About lap 105 John was battling for 3rd when another car decided to end our night for us. The big thing is John's okay. He's a little sore and stiff. The car will need some help over the winter months. Overall we had a good time. _________________ Bill |

Not a good thing at all.
John Mamula has been a good, clean racer who has done the local racing scene well through his sponsorship of the Mod class at Spartan. And, his business has helped a lot of us throughout the season.
And, as I expected, when I spoke with John yesterday to see how he was, and how his ride was, he was his typical upbeat, positive self, with nary a bad word to say about the race, or what happened. Instead, he talked about getting the car ready for next year.
Truly a gentleman, he is.
I echo the Governor,
Way to go, John.
have a good day,

That's too bad...I just got done reading the USA mod's website. It sounded like he had a great run going, but it doesn't suprise me at all that he was upbeat about everything....I had gond down to apologize to John after a race where I was real loose, and I knew he was right behind me. He could've moved me and finished in the top five, but he raced me very clean, and told me he had a run a couple times, but then he gotten loose.
Great guy with a real fast race car.....Can't wait for next year.....Maybe Schinde will be able to play with us more!! |

Trust me Tony,
I've got the doc's working one me just as much as I am working on my car.
Well, maybe not as much on my car, it doesn't need the help that I do.
But, I've got every intention of being back next year. Ending my season June 29th wasn't what I had in mind.
have a good day,
