Pony Stocks needed for SUNDAY Figure 8

Hi all talked with Jim email to find out how many figures 8 ponys would be running other then the 1 scheduled race he will consider adding them to the sunday shows only if we can get enough cars to commit
SO PLEASE all drivers interested and willing to run the sunday shows on the figure 8 put your info down here and lets get them added to the show
need at least 12 or more to git r done Laughing

I know we can get more pony cars then the big boys but has to be done ASAP thanks all Ken

ps. If we can get enough for this I plan on comming out of retirement just to run the 8

I will commit.

However I want to voice my opinion that the 2 figure 8's I attended last year to watch the pony race was as good or better then the V-8's. The racing was just as good and there was ALOT less drama both on and off the track with the Pony;s.

Of the 3 races with results from last year (the forth does not say the numbers) there was only one night with a noticeable difference in car count. The First night there was 8 V-8's and 9 Pony's.
The second night there was 17 V-8's and 9 Pony's.
The forth night there was 11 V-8's and 10 Pony's.

By looking at the numbers I would say that the Pony's are doing almost as well as the V-8's. One night they did better even.

I would really hate to see the Pony stock Fig 8's canceled for less then 12 cars. It's not like their being paid 750 to win and getting less then 12 cars.

if patrick can find a car for me to drive i will run as many as i can, should pretty much be all but maybe one or so in the early part of the year. If the dr.'s clear me, we may even make it out for the first springport, but not sure on that yet....knee surgeries are a BI*&H

i think you all may see alot more of me actually, i have been real serious about softball up until now, but that game is actually getting more dangerous than racing, and if anyone out there plays, with the bats now days racing may be cheaper.

hopefully after opening night the drivers who may not have checked this out will commit..oh Bill I talked with banishes welding they said they could take 2 seats cut and reweld them to fit (I asked how about 3 to get it to fit ya) just teasing they did say they could make seats for a big person just to let you know its possible. Laughing

I'd love to race every pony figure 8 if I had a car! But I sold it and bought a brand new Super Mini Cup car! I'm gonna really miss the figure 8's though! Sad
