I was glad to hear last night that Spartan will have a Brian Heeney race and I would hope the Charlie Ryan Jr. race will be run every year as well. I was glad to hear 3 sponsors step up for the Heeney race as well last night. A suggestion for both races is to offer lap money. This is a way for fans, or anyone to get involved in the race program. I would like to see the Ryan race be 100 laps and the Heeney race at least 50 laps (I don't know the distance the mods on alcohol can run or I would say go 75 laps) with laps being sponsored at $25 a lap. I will say right now that I will sponsor lap 34 (in honor of my dads number when he raced) in both races. I would really like to see these two races as a race that fans, drivers and crews mark on their calanders as a must go to race.
