this is from waterwinterwonderland.com site.
Currently the old Onondaga Dragway has been leased by a private club for personal use only. That is why you are seeing work being done on the track. There is no intention to re-open the strip or use it as a spectator event. This is a private lease and is to be respected as private property with the exception to those who have permission. Sorry to bust your bubble fellas. I know you have all waited a very long time to see this track open back up, but it is doubtful that will ever happen given how the surrounding houses and township feel. _________________ Scott C.

Scott,
Yes, it will be for private use, regretfully, as I have been watching them work on it for the past few months everyday when I drive by it.
However, the Township would not necessarily be standing in the way of a potential re-opening of the strip were that to ever be contemplated.
If at some time in the future there is the interest, the owners of the property know where I live,
have a good day,

| Onandaga dragstrip was a cool place to race and hang out at in my day. It sure would be fun to take another pass down that strip. |
