I have received several phone calls inquiring about Carl Sodman and how he is doing.

I just heard from Cathy Sodman (Carl's wife) and Cathy has informed me that Carl is going to be recovering for a while. From all of the Spartan Staff I wish Carl a speedy recovery and look forward to him being able to use those four new tires he just bolted on in the reasonably near future.

Jim. Was just wondering if you can say what happened with Carl? Hope everything turns out well. He is a great guy

Mark, Unfortunately I don't have the authority to go into details and actually I don't know very many. I can say that Carl is likely to be back this season and driving the 45 car. I can also say with confidence that Carl is very well liked and respected in the pit area and we are all relieved to hear that he will be fine.

Thanks for the update Jim, and Carl, get back to the track, you will be missed in the pits and on the track.

Very glad you are on the mend, I've been there, and while it is tough to deal with, knowing that the car is waiting for you will help,
