I've activated the feature on the message board that allows each of us to have our own little avatar pictured below our username on each of our posts. An avatar is simply an image that displays with each of your messages.

You'll notice the one I'm currently using at the left of this message.

You can use an avatar that is already available on the message board, or you can upload your own personal avatar. To activate your avatar, click on "Profile" at the top of this page and then scroll down near the bottom. You'll find the links for activating your own avatar.

There are several different avatar galleries to choose from when you display the avatars that are here on the board. There is a drop down menu on the avatar display page that allows you to switch between galleries.

You'll find various categories such as horses, dogs, cats, garden, and several others.

If you find an avatar that you would like to use, select it by clicking on the small dot below the image, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Select avatar". You will then return to your profile page. At this point, click on "Submit" at the bottom of your profile page.

If anyone knows of a nice collection of auto racing related avatars, please post the info here on where to find it.

Some of you that have race cars might want to create a small image of your car and upload it here. You are limted to an image size of 100 pixels wide and 120 pixels high. Plus the filesize of the image cannot exceed 8192 bytes.
