Looking for a little help here. I'm putting together a Pure Stock for Spartan and want some suggestions and a interpretation on the fuel cell rule.
1. I'd like to install a cell, rather than use the stock fuel tank, but want to confirm that the JEGS fuel cell with metal can with polyethylene liner meets the "made for racing" guideline in the rules.
2. Looking for any suggestions on a good tank size. I'm thinking 8 or 12 gallons should get the job done, but would like to hear from the pros.
3. Any other suggestions for where to look for fuel cells if the JEGS ones aren't the right ones?
Thanks |

The fuel cell your describing is the same one I used in my Pony Stock. It should be ok to use in a Pure Stock. 8 gal should be plenty big but you will need to make sure you fill it after you run the heat race just to be sure you have enough to run 20 laps. You can also look for a cell on www.speedwaymotors.com and look on ebay , I bought alot of racing parts there. Good luck
