On Friday night, August 18th, both Tony Stewart and Tim Fedewa will be making an appearance at Spartan Speedway.

Due to time constraints with a big program including the Chargin Charlie Ryan Memorial race for the Super Late Models that night, there will be no official autograph session.

I think we should hold an exhibition race with about 8 of the fastest Pony Stocks just after intermission and put Tony and Tim in two of the cars starting in the rear. Let's see how these two guys can handle 3-5 wide front wheel drive racing! How many would go for that?

I was going to ask Mark if he would be willing to donate the Neon for the race.

This is not a done deal yet. I'm sure we can get Tim Fedewa to go for it, but Tony might be a different story. Joe Gibbs might not approve. However, since it's a 4-cylinder race, he might not mind.

Of course, if he sees one of our races, he might have second thoughts!

It would have been cool to do, but I found out we can't do the exhibition race.
