ATTENTION ALL FOUR CYLINDER FWD DRIVERS.....THIS FRIDAY DURING SPARTAN SPEEDWAY'S NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION, YOU WILL HAVE MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO RACE MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF EVENTS AND MAKE A NICE CHUNCK OF CHANGE FOR THE PRICE OF A PIT PASS WITH NO ENTRY OR SLAB FEE. SPARTAN PONY STOCKS WILL RUN THEIR "A" FEATURE ($120 TO WIN AND $50 TO START) AND A "B" FEATURE (PAYING $50 FOR ALL POSITIONS PLUS HEAT RACES. IN ADDITION THERE WILL BE FWD FOUR CYLINDER FIGURE 8 PAYING $200 TO WIN AND $50 TO START AND THERE WILL BE FLAG POLE RACES FOR V-8'S AND V-6'S COMBINED AND ONE FOR FWD FOUR CYLINDERS ALONG WITH A TRAILER RACE.

PIT GATES OPEN AT 2 PM, HOT LAPS AT 5 PM AND RACING GETTING UNDERWAY AT 7:30 PM. PIT PASSES ARE $25 AND THERE WILL BE NO SLAB OR ENTRY FEES. FOR MORE INFORMATION, E MAIL info@spartanspeedway.com.

So will the pay for the pony stock flag pole race be the same as the v8/v6?

Scott, It will not be the same as the V-8. If it goes well we need it to be a little more affordable so we can run it in the future. Probably will use the f-8 pay off the first time around, see how many drivers are interested as well as how it works out with 4 cyls. We may have several big cars to run as well and we are probably only going to have time for a couple of races.

The Flag Pole Race is only a few laps and should be easier on the car than the figure-8 but we will know more about it after Friday.

There was also a mistake on the A feature pay off in Bill's post and it has been corrected.
