did anyone else notice that owosso is going to "a pure stock type 4 cylinder class with front and rear wheel drive similar to a very local track that runs on friday nights" who is interested in the Big O?

They must be hoping to draw Spartan cars to Owosso.

They made a few mistakes with their Mini Stock class the past couple of years. It used to be quite a good class and drew some real good cars and drivers.

Now, they are starting over from scratch. It's a mistake to include Pure Stock RWD 4-cylinder cars. Somebody would have to build one brand new and they just don't hardly exist. Whereas, FWD 4-cylinder cars are plentiful.

I also think an older stock RWD engine would be less powerful than a newer stock FWD engine. If this class is successful, it will consist primarily of FWD cars.

I can't imagine any of the existing RWD cars will get downgraded to run in this class.

They should have kept the existing Mini Stock class, corrected the mistakes they've made with it, and tried to rebuild it to where it was almost headed a couple of years ago. It was getting quite popular, but fell all apart last year.

Maurice... I'd bet money they are expecting SMS to not open and are hoping to draw the entire Spartan field to the Big O. And I'd also say that if SMS doesn't open, that is exactly what will happen.

I realy do love Owosso and enjoy the atmospere there, but my loyalty belongs to Spartan and Springport. They are and always will be my 1st choice of where to run.
