Good Morning Jerry... welcome to the club.
Jacob's car is a good car, solidly built and always a front running, lead lap car. |

Welcome, Jerry. It's always good to see a new face. You'll have a lot of fun, and if you like auto racing (obviously you do) you'll get a lot of racing action with that car in the Pony Stock class.
See you at the track.

Hello Jerry!
Let me just start by tellin you that you have picked the best racing family around to be a part of. These guys and gals are very nice and more than willing to help a newbee out. They also know these racecars inside and out so listen to what they tell you and you will do great! See you out there bro!

| Well thanks for the warm welcome everyone, hopefull I can figure exactly how this here board operates. untill then I want to say thanks jacob, everything is going great. Right now the first thing I would like to know is what the heck kind of tires should I run, and is there any rules on how you make your body repairs, as in rivets, screws, or welding. etc. And while I'm at it whats the best way other than hammering that floor board to get the most out of that 2.5, other than that, All I need to know is turn left, right? yea hhaaa.. |

The Sumitomo HTR 200 tires that came with the car are the best ones to run. Use any other tire on any corner other than the LR and the car will go slower. It doesn't make much difference what you use on the LR since that corner has very little to do with the handling of the car.
Be sure to check the Pony Stock rules closely, especially any part that covers the chassis and suspension. There is a plate that is welded on the bottom side of your rear axle that will have to be removed. (Unless Jacob has already removed it) Stiffening the rear axle is no longer allowed.

Hi Jerry,
Welcome to the wonderful world of Pony Stock's. You will have more fun than any human should be allowed to have. If you need any help, let me know.
