| Is there a 2.5 motor that will work in my 92 shadow, Its my first year and Im just tryin to learn some things. I have a 2.2 in my car already but Im lookin for a new motor the one in my car has been beat to death and Im already having problems with it so Im lookin to upgrade. If anyone would like to share some info with me, that would be great. If any one knows of a good runnin motor that will work in my car please reply. Its a 92 shadow or sundance. Thanks guys and lookin forward to racin with ya. |

Yes, 2.5 will bolt right in . I ran a 2.5 in my Shadow. If I can help you out with your car with set up or anything just let me know.

| thanks, and I appreciate your offer for help, I'm kinda strugglin right now cause of the weather cause I cut trees for a living, but I am looking for a 2.5 if I can find one cheap enough or a 2.2 if I have to. I will be in touch. I may have to miss a week or two but I'll be out there eventually. I may have only tore up my timing gear or whatever but It may be alot worse than I think though, so a different motor may be the better way to go. My cousin is gonna start tearin it apart for me today, so Ill know more soon.Ill keep ya posted.Thanks John |

If you tear up a timing belt on a 2.2 or 2.5 Chrysler, it won't bend the valves. Just put a new timing belt in it and fire it up.
