Just put it in first gear tomorrow night and see what happens. Then go from there.
If you hit the rev limiter before the end of the straight, it won't hurt anything. Just let it hit it and then start letting off for the corner. You'll be fine.
If it doesn't hit the rev limiter, then just keep working on other aspects of your car until you get fast enough to hit the rev limiter. That's when you can worry about finding the .91 ratio gears.
