my wife would like to get into racing pony stocks. She is looking for someone who is willing to let her drive there car on the tack for a few warm up laps. That way she can get the feel of racing and then make the final decision before we get her a car.
Thanks
Rob

Rob,
I raced last year and can speak from experience when I say that if you let her get into a race car she will never want to get out.(short track racing is the most addictive drug you can get and is even harder to kick) I would tell you to get down to the pits after races are done and talk to just about any of the pony drivers, they will steer you in the right direction and maybe even let your wife get some hot laps in when possible. As far as ins and outs of racing its pretty simple: 1. Seat time on the track, just start off slow until you get comfortable then pick up speed. 2. Get to know the other competitors, everyone in the pony class is very helpful, getting contact information is the best tool you can have. Any other questions you can contact me at 517-819-1578 _________________ George Garza

Hi Rob, I used to race Ponys a few years back and had a great time, Im sure your wife will love it. I can help ya out with any questions you may have with set up or building a car from scratch. I will be in the pits Friday night, probably at the #17 Pony stock.
