How come the Pure Stock Car count is down so low? I remenber when you use to have a field of 15. Even for the slugfest shows the car count is VERY low. I have noticed that you dont even have any drivers for the pure stock figure 8 anymore.

I wonder if it's not because of the scarce of these type of cars. It's getting harder and harder to find these cars any more in that area. Out west here we still see a lot of them, but not so much there. Just my thoughts on this matter. Wonder if there is an alternative that can be used with knowing these type of rear wheel drive cars are becoming harder to find.

I've raced spartan and springport this year and the nights i raced down to springport they have had 15 to 20 cars in the A and B class.Spartan started off with a decent car count at the start of the year and dwindeled down to 6 to 8 cars.They had the same thing happen with the pure stocks.I believe ther were only 4 cars left at the end of last year.I'm not sure what the problem is, maybe the boys at spartan can explain what is going on.If your looking for purestocks,owosso gets a good amount of them on saturday night.I hope spartan can fix the problem.Makes for a pretty dismal night of racing when you don't have good street stock and figure eight classes.Probably the reason for a low fan count.

I bet the fan count would greatly increase if the Pure Stocks count would increase!
