Chad Finley; Hoping For Better Luck In JEGS/CRA Competition; Race #3 At Illiana Motor Speedway

DeWitt, Michigan (Thursday, May 17th, 2012): The next race on the 2012 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts schedule is at the big ½ (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Illiana Motor Speedway, located southeast of Chicago, Illinois in Schererville, Indiana for the Lisa Thomas Salon 100 Presented by JEGS.com and Chad Finley is looking for a solid finish in the third JEGS/CRA race of the year.

In Finley’s only other appearance at the Chicagoland oval back in July 2011 in JEGS/CRA, he finished 10th and after the first two events of the 2012 JEGS/CRA season, Finley finds himself in unfamiliar territory in 12th in the season long points chase after two of the 14 scheduled JEGS/CRA events of the Salem, Indiana based series.

“It’s definitely time to turn our luck around. We ran very well there last year until a late race incident.” The DeWitt, Michigan driver remarked. “Our cars have been very fast the last few races. We just have not had an ounce of luck. If we can get over the hump here we will be fine. The guys are working very hard building these cars and we need to reward their efforts. We will just keep digging and see where we are at by the end of the day.” He added.

Speed51.com, the Short Track Source for motorsports coverage will be in Schererville, Indiana throughout the day on Saturday, May 19th with their widely popular “Trackside Now” coverage beginning at 2:00p.m. (Central Time). For those that can’t make the trip down to Western Indiana to cheer on the CFR Team, just go to: www.speed51.com and follow all the action from the track throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

In addition, the race at Illiana will see a new sponsor decal attached to the car as Maurer’s Textiles, based in Finley’s hometown of DeWitt, Michigan has come on board as a Marketing Partner for CFR. “There values are identical to ours here at CFR.” Finley continued. “They have great products and our appearance is much better because of our new found relationship. It is great to have them come on board.” He ended.

Maurer's is a family owned business since 1969. The founder and CEO, Lawrence E. Maurer, has empowered his son LJ (President & COO) and daughter Theresa (CFO) to run and grow the business. The Maurer family believes in providing their customers the kind of service that it expects from their own vendors (suppliers); product selection, service, pricing, and most of all honesty and integrity.

Looking ahead with the ARCA/CRA Super Series car, the next race for CFR will be on Saturday, June 16th at Springport Motor Speedway in Springport, Michigan for the Springport 125 Featuring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series veteran and friend of CFR, Kenny Schrader.

Throughout the 2012 racing season will see both of Finley’s CRA cars, sporting identical black paint schemes and carrying the familiar #42, carrying sponsorship decals on each Ford Fusion from; AutoParts2020.com as well as Auto Value Parts Stores & Certified Service Centers, XLT Engineering, NorthsideTowing.net, Nalett Trucking, Howe Racing Enterprises, The Air Lift Company, Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil, Memphis Wood Fire Grills, Staubli Products, QuicShine99, Hyperco, Superior Racing Images, M.P.H. Promotions and the newest marketing partner, Maurer’s Textiles
