I would like to thank Doug Allen for allowing my 7 year old twin niece and nephew (who were visiting from florida) to not only come up on the flag stand for the start of the Dwarf race last night, but also for letting them wave the white and green flags to start the race.

I also want to thank Abby Looman for how kindly she treated them as well....allowing them to get autographs and get photos in the car after the races. This was a particularly big deal for my niece, who has now seen what a positive female role model looks like.

These are the kinds of things that contribute to building a fan base of younger kids and creating memories that will last a lifetime, especially for these two who don't get to travel up and visit her a lot.
