Doubleheader Weekend At Lucas Oil Raceway On Tap For Chad Finley

DeWitt, Michigan (Wednesday, July 25th, 2012): Chad Finley and the Chad Finley Racing Team will make a return trip to the Hoosier State for some double-duty racing this Thursday-Friday, July 26-27th at Lucas Oil Raceway, located West of Indianapolis in Clermont, Indiana.

On Thursday, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance will race in the Lucas Oil 100 Presented by JEGS.com. Then on Friday, July 27th, the ARCA/CRA Super Series takes over and races in the Fatheadz 100 Presented by Team Construction. Finley will race in both century distance events and is looking forward to the twin 100s at one of his favorite race tracks.

“We are definitely looking forward to LOR. It is my favorite race track on the schedule.” Stated the 20-year-old as he and his CFR Team make final preparations for a busy weekend in the Circle City. “We tested there last Saturday and the JEGS car was awesome. We have a little more work to do on our Super Series car as we don’t get a chance to run it that often, but hopefully we can get it tuned in also. These are long races on this track which I really look forward too.” He added.

On October 1st, 2011, Finley started 35th in the McGunegill Engine Performance 100 for JEGS/CRA after a mishap during Qualifying the previous day. He then went on to pick up the most positions in any race in JEGS/CRA’s brief history as he passed a whopping 33 cars en route finishing second. When Finley looks back on that event, the 20-year-old thinks about how hard of a race that really was and how hard the CFR Team worked to get to that point.

“We have a great race team. As it showed that day and every day with our team both here in the shop and on the road.” The appreciative DeWitt, Michigan driver continued. “Like I have and we all say at some point our luck has just got to change. I guarantee you it is not from lack of effort that sure. Our day is coming.” He ended.

For the remainder of the 2012 campaign both of Finley’s CRA cars, (JEGS/CRA & ARCA/CRA Super Series) will be sporting identical black paint schemes and carrying the familiar #42, with sponsorship decals on each Ford Fusion from; Auto Value Parts Stores & Certified Service Centers, as well as AutoParts2020.com, XLT Engineering, NorthsideTowing.net, Rain Eater Wiper Blades, JEGS.com, Nalett Trucking, Howe Racing Enterprises, The Air Lift Company, Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil, Memphis Wood Fire Grills, Staubli Products, QuicShine99, Hyperco, Maurer’s Textiles, Superior Racing Images, and M.P.H. Promotions.
