I am down here in sunny florida and ron parishand i are going to lots of good races 70s during the day but down in the50s at nite and it is quite chilly even at 50 degrees as i brought my longies and have been wearing them at nite. gone to east bay and watched dirt latemodels,ocala speedway seven divisions on 3/8 asphalt and a 200 lap mod race.
volusia county speedwaywatched kenny wallace finish 2nd in the feature andclint bojyer finished 14th in the late model feature. went over to daytona and looked around but it rained hard still have new smyrna to visit and citrus county speedway on sat nite oldgold

Late model racing is almost extenct in florida asphalt racing,
Mods are late models, quickchanges, aluminum heads, but no high dollar shocks, impala frames and $20,000-$30,000 engines with tar style bodies and radios, goodyear slicks 300-500 to win, and streetstocks are 90% camaros on radials and all cast with cast iron manifolds and quadrajet carbs $200 to win plus pure stocks for 100 to win and ponys for 50 to win.
Tech is tough with 6 cars DQed 3 mods for 5,8,15 pounds light, and 1 street for springs that were cut and a pony that was running qa1 aluminum racing shocks. oldgold
