To all drivers,

If you haven't filled out an info sheet for the website, get busy on it. The new drivers section on the web site has been a very popular addition. This is your chance to help promote yourself and get the fans to know who you are when you are out there in front of them putting on a show.

To give you an idea of how popular the new drivers section has been, I checked the stats on how much activity that section of the website has been getting. Since Monday of this week until this Thursday afternoon, there has been over 5000 page views in the drivers section. People aren't just looking at one or two drivers, they are looking at all of them.

Go to either spartanspeedway.com or springportmotorspeedway.com and click on "Drivers" near the top of the page to check it out.

You can get an info sheet from me at the track or you will also find a link on the drivers index page where you can view it and print it out. Fill out the sheet and get it to me and I'll get you listed.

In order to prevent getting extra large scores, I'm going to add a function to the program that checks this to count multiple views from the same computer as one view.

Whoops, I had an error in the program that was used for checking the number of page views. It was not only counting the page itself, but also each photo contained within as a page view. Which means, the more photos on the page, the more counts were totalled. So, here are the corrected totals:

Thanks for getting me all excited in your Aug. 9th post, showing that I actually had 312 people checking out "SHAGGY". For a minute there I thought I became a "Super Star" over night ! ! Guess I'm going to have to start Charging for my Autograph ! ! LMAO Just Kidding !

I would like to say that the Driver board looks Great ! Even though I'm a driver myself I like to look at all the pics & profiles, it's very interesting to find out more about the people I talk to in the Pits on Friday nights !

I guess I'm going to have to step it up this Friday night so I get more attn. and people to check my profile out.
