Just wanted to say that some of us, as long time fans of Spartan Speedway that we stuck with the spedway through all kinds of ups and downs. Thanks to Jim and Bill for being willing to try some things with the SLM class to help it. At times it has to be a thankless job and no matter what you do, some are not going to support it. But for a few of us long time fans we say thank you for being willing to try some things. The programs do run quite smoothly and are ready and organized. Thanks Bill.
Even Big Ed is sounding good on the mike these days--plus your comments and opinons are always read with interest. Just wanted to offer a voice of support from several of us race fans that are usually just the silent majority that doesn't get involved in the day to day somtimes very stressful operations of a race track. Just dealing with so many different personalities and all of them competive in nature is a miracle in itself that things run as well as they do. Thanks and a hat tip to you guys and the whole staff. |

Even Big Ed is sounding good these days? When has he ever sounded bad? Ed is one of the best in the biz.
Ohterwise I echo your sentiments entirely.
I think those who may not have talked to Jim or Bill in a while should go have a converstation with them. I think you will see that they are really listening to people and trying make it a quality show every week.
Let us not forget the job Maurice is doing down there in Springport either. Were it not for him the track would be a cow pasture right now. Not only has he kept it open, there is some pretty good racing going on down there. |
