The Andrews Chevrolet Super Late Models saw Stan Perry and Lee Taylor bring them down for the start of their 40-lap feature, on Vesco Oil night, at Spartan Speedway. Taylor drove into the top spot ahead of Perry on the start, with Evan Barrett, Jimmy Gallagher, and Garry Duram in tow. Lap ten had Taylor and Perry trying to pull away from Barrett. The entire field was now running single file, with a few brave drivers ducking in and out of line, trying to make the cars stick. Jeff Finley was one of the first to try his hand, and got under Stehouwer, as the duo ran side by side behind Bob Bauer in eighth. Taylor and Perry opened up some daylight between themselves and third, with Barrett and Gallagher working on each other for third and fourth, while Duram was the sole occupant of fifth place. Perry jumped to the outside of Taylor and couldn’t make it work for him, and a repeat performance on lap 31 was unsuccessful as well. Stehouwer carefully began his march through the field to catch the top five. A caution, involving cars that were going a lap down, caught up Taylor and Perry on lap 38. They both got their spots back and Taylor held on to take the checker. Perry, Barrett, Gallagher, and Duram rounded out the top five. Dale Lewis and Taylor each grabbed heat wins.

The MI Army National Guard MI Modifieds got off to a rocky start with attrition taking its toll on veteran, Ken Buchner, during qualifying. Perry Davenport and Aaron Katz brought seventeen competitors down to the green, with Davenport sitting in first by the completion of lap one. Katz, Brian Heeney, Chris Ozanich, and Tim Easey were running nose to tail behind Davenport by lap five. The next 20 laps were a carbon copy of the first five, with Davenport beginning to put a little daylight between himself and Katz in second. Heeney looked to the low side around Katz, but couldn’t make it stick, as Davenport widened the gap between Katz and Heeney, who were running second and third on lap 30. At the stripe, it was Davenport, Katz, Heeney, Ozanich, and Easey. Earl Miles and Easey won their heats.

Nineteen Performance Automotive Northwest Street Stocks timed in for their 25-lap feature. Jamie Feguer led the charge to the line on lap one, with Nate Moon, Howard McDonough, Bubber Patrick, and Dave Thorburn right on his tail. Ed Newman Jr. broke into the top five, by lap five, around Thorburn. Caution on lap nine for point leader, Dane Long, saw Newman Jr. sitting in second behind Feguer, with McDonough,Thorburn, and B. Patrick ready to battle for position on the restart. Lap 10 saw Newman Jr. get around Feguer for first, while Thorburn made his move to the front around both McDonough and Feguer, on lap 13, for the second position. Newman Jr. began to pull away, as Thorburn broke away from the lead pack and methodically began to reel him in. Caution on lap 20 was not exactly what Thorburn wanted to see, as he and Newman Jr. had quite an advantage over the rest of the field. On the restart, it was Newman Jr., Thorburn, Rob Patrick, Mike Ammerman, and Corey Davis making a charge down for the green. R. Patrick completed a pass on Thorburn on lap 23, and they crossed the line with Newman Jr. taking the win over R. Patrick, Thorburn, Ammerman, and Davis. Bruce Jones and Bubber Patrick scored heat wins.

The Q106 Pony Stocks had seventeen drivers ready for their 15-lap feature. These “eager” competitors were divided up into two features. George Wyers and Brent McCort led the A feature to the green, with Wyers shown as the lap one leader. Deubel drove his way from his eighth starting position to sit in first by lap two. By lap five, it was Deubel, Wyers, Rob Miller, John Conroy, and Jimmy Scavarda making up the top five. With Deubel running to hide, the rest of the front-runners were left to duke it out for second through fifth. Lap 10 saw Bryan Passick II make a move under Wyers for third, bringing Scavarda along with him into fourth. At the checker, it was Deubel, Conroy, Passick II, Scavarda, and Miller. The B feature had Jessie Standley and Tina Anderson bringing nine cars down for the start. Standley led lap one, with Jason Brunn right on his rear bumper. Brunn jumped into the lead on lap five, followed by Anderson and Terry Winstead. John Ward had begun his march to the front to sit in second on lap 10 and took over the lead on lap 13. Ward came home the winner on lap 15 followed by Brunn, David Hartman, Anderson, and Jacob Newman. John Ward and Julie Dailey tallied heat wins.
