Friday night Liprari Foods, Snethkamp Dodge and Sprint rewarded fans a great night of racing along with the opportunity to meet Nascar driver, Kyle Petty. The Metro Ford Super Late Models were first out and set a torrid pace as Charlie Ryan Jr. and Jeff Finley ran side by side for the first ten laps until Finley claimed the point. Two laps later, Finley drove into turn three a little hot and enabled Ryan to dive under and take the lead. Finley then had his mirror full of Stan Perry as they battled for second. Bill Heeney Jr., John Dunivion, Jeff Hackworth and Tim Ryan were mixing it up for forth when the first caution flew for a spin with nine laps to go. Two laps from the finish Perry finally got by Finley for second as Finley's mount loss power and Heeney slipped by as well. As the checkered fell, Charlie Ryan Jr. claimed his first win of the season followed by Perry, Heeney Jr., Finley and Dunivion. Heat race wins were claimed by Lipari Foods own, Rob Buckley, Mark Starr and Stan Perry. Chris Place set fast time at 13:087 of the 25 Super Late Models.

Brad Moore and Rob Marten were quickly catching the lead cars when Moore got loose in turn 2 with three laps to go and Marten started dicing with McEwan for second when McEwan shut the door allowing Moore back into the battle. This action was all Clingan needed as he took his first victory of the year as McEwan held on for second over Moore, Marten and Pat Dent.
