Cook Cops Springport SUPERPROby Bill Lackey MASON, Mich. -- Ft. Wayne, Indiana veteran Terry Cook decided to replace his four year old Chevrolet crate motor with a newer version and it paid off as he won the "Lipari Foods 75" for the SUPERPRO Series Saturday at Springport Motor Speedway. Cook took the lead on lap 8 from Mike Tutino and held off point leader Mark Kortz and Five Star Racing Bodies fast qualifier Rob Buckley during the final 20 laps for his second victory of the year. Rick Everidge was fourth for the second race in a row and John Lynch captured his first top five of the year. The SUPERPRO Series return to action on Sunday, July 23 at the Spartan Speedway in Mason, MI. Race time is 6 pm.
